Looking for best price on purchase of bel canto 1000 reference mono blocks. I have also Mcintosh 275 power mp for part ex if possible

the danish 1001-ref amps use the exact same ice module as the bel canto's do. yes the casework isnt as nice, and the fit and finish inside isnt up to bel canto standards, but for almost a 3rd of the retail or ref1000's you would have basically the same sound quality.

I have a pair of Ref 1000s which are surplus to requirements, they are as stunning as all the reviews say. I bought them in America, but it is a simple fuse swap to use them here. Please get in touch if you are still looking. Cheers

 

Is it really as simple as that? I spoke with Bel Canto regarding this. They were less than helpful. Not surprising really.
