This is a very nice remote controlled solid state pre amp with built-in phono stage (the built-in phono stage is also available as a standalone unit known as the Phono1).

The phono stage has user configureable gain and loading settings via DIP switches on the back panel so is very flexible.

The amp also has a host of inputs and outputs, single ended as well as balanced connections and AV pass through.

    Some reviews:

Please note that this is a US imported model and therefore needs to run off of a 120V supply. Can be converted to run on UK/European mains voltages but requires a bit of internal soldering, or alternatively I can include a step-down mains transformer in the price.

Reason for sale: have just upgraded to the newer Pre2P.

hey henry.. good to see you again... i just moved on the 8000Q myself to be replaced with a valve preamp. didnt realise how much the audiolab was taking away from the musicality of the performance. The valve pre is far from perfect.. but at least its musical.

Hope you sell this well!! (if i had the money :)
