Typical isn't it? Mind you, I've had THREE birds in a ROW once (major miracle for me!) come up to me in a club and say "I'm 21 - can I have a snog?" (they were probably underage, but I was only 18 and am partially sighted, so what can you do) so I snogged one after the other.

I still can't help thinking the second and third were told in succession from the previous snog-er about the obscene length of my tongue... I can pick my nose with it for one thing - dead easy!

As for being desperate - being single doesn't make you desperate...

No, but being desperate will almost invariably result in you being single.

Well, ok, not "had" in THAT sense, but at the time it happened it was as near as 'cos my luck's always been crap. Actually, I COULD have "had" the third one if I'd been listening properly - the PA in that club was atrocious, and when it finally dawned on me what she'd asked, the moment, and the girl, were gone. D'oh!

story of my life...but I like to think that I'm making up for it now, despite being in my 30's...!!

but my ex is giving me hassle now - when I was living with her, she invited a course mate around (from Uni) - she kinda came onto me...now that we've broken up (but still kinda friends until yesterday...) I e-mailed her friend...nothing happened as she assumed that I was still seeing my ex...but I had sent this lass a joke e-mail and she inadverntly sent it to me ex...the words 'hitting' 'sh*t' and 'fan' come to mind...this all happened yesterday...I'm still trying to explain myself, she think that I was two timing her! sigh...

She's an EX. That means "no more". Tell her you were "on a break" - since she's a woman, and almost certainly a telly addict, she'll know instantly what you're on about... If that doesn't work, kill her (joke!).

I don't see why ex's think they have a right to keep getting in yer face about everything - I still see mine occasionally, but she's got no say in anything I do. I think she actually regrets messing me around but I have no regrets in dumping her - in fact, she's set my personal development back years...

Happened to me many years ago when I was munching an apple.

She: Can I have a bite?
    Me: Why sure...
She: I don't mean the apple
