Best Indian? I'm torn between Mahatma Gandhi and Little Big Foot...

Cafe Spice Namaste in the City is fantastic - not as cheap as most but completely different menu with lots of regional dishes - ie a restaurant that happens to be Indian as opposed to an 'Indian restaurant'

Dom and I are going to be particularly spoiled, having two of Exeter's finest Indians within 10 minutes walk of our shared house, the Light of India and Chadni's. Taj Mahal in town is on a par wiith these as well.

i'd have to agree with dev in principal. if you want a good curry then home made is the way to go. don't use those curry in a jar things though, invest a bit in some decent herb, spices, yoghurt etc and the results will blow most takeaways er away.
    cheers

best indian take away has to be the caravan parked outside poundstrechers in luton, the menu is limited but the food is exallent, and realy cheap, chicken curry +rice £2.50,samossa 50 - 70p depending on the filling and 3 onion bargies for 50p,restraunt wise the raj in luton takes alot of beating,in fact these are the olny 2 things i can think of that i miss about living in luton as the indian takeaway here is pretty average

I've said too much already, so I'll keep a low profile now.:p

However, I might be organising a BBQ on the 1st Aug, I'll confirm nearer the date. If it does happen then I'll be happy to organise some snacks such as samosas etc.
