Beth Orton - Daybreaker

I gave up on this album pretty quickly.... It seems to be bland commercialised dross compared to the creative and individual Trailer Park album. Am I alone in thinking this?

 

I didn't buy it, as thought central reservation was a bit weak at the side of TP although Daybreaker got good reviews but we all know what reviews are worth

 

I play it now and again. I like a few of her albulms.

 

I thought centeral reservation was pretty good in places. Not much of a fan of daybreaker, to be honest i've not really given it much airtime. I tend to either chuck CR or TP on.

You might want to give CR a go Isaac.

 

Personally I prefer Daybreaker to Central Reservation and still play it quite often - still think Trailer Park was best.

I disliked the album originally but it seems to have wormed its way in and doesn't want to let go yet.
