    in a similar vein, did anyone see top gear last night? some downhill nutter racing a clio through lisbon. top tv. veyron next week.

    Yes! That was some eye opener :eek: It seemed as though he was just gonna take off! You know the bit where the guy jumped over the clio crossways - surely that wasnt real? Had to be camera tricks right? It looked awesome eitehr way :D

    Yeah that was pretty good. Saw a clip recently of a red bull event that goes through a similar town and through someones front room! Think there might even be a race series...sure a google would do it.
    Rockhopper...the bit where he jumped the clio was staged....you could see a ramp in the alleyway on the right. Perfectly feasable after that though. Pretty straight forward jump.

    i can well believe it was real - i live about a 20 minute ride away from chicksands / beds fat trax which has some very challenging downhill / dirtjump and north shore style areas. i've seen 16 year olds pulling horizontal 360's and backflips over the dirtjumps there so i can well believe that the guy jumped the clio.
