we drove up the dales to Alston then down to Middleton in Teesdale and part of it were white!

brrr - i hate snow - bloody pointless stuff. it should be allwed from 5am to 12pm on christmas day at a depth of 5 inches. good for a quick snowball fight a snowman and then it all buggers off and lets you drive and walk in safety again.
not seen any this year so a thumbs up for climate change from me....

 

yeah, there was only a small area covered (2 square miles or so) and we were able to have a snowball fight too!!
