We're about to get a new puppy (aahhhh) - she's a Border Collie cross English Springer Spaniel - and we're having a bit of difficulty thinking of a suitable name.. She's 2 days old and will probably end up black and white.

We've already got another collie cross called Jono (not our choice!), so the name has to sort of go with that..

    Any suggestions?
(And we're not calling her Lady, or Sheba!)

IME it's good to give dogs names with "ee" sounds. Makes it easier for them to know then they're being spoke to.

I had a dog called Deefer many years ago... Lakeland Collie cross Ridgeback - he'd get so excited he was like the Wall of Death sometimes!
    Top choices so far are:
    Guzzi
    Bootsy
    Jezebel
    Nuptse

I have named my pets after musical types so,
The cats are Billie and Nina, bitch is Ella, in the tank live Fred Wesley and the JBs, rabbit is called Miles.
    Meh, how sad is that.

One of my friends called his two bitches Judy and Liza. Not sure if they're into substance abuse yet...

Our two bitches are Luna and Quito. Although Quito doesn't sound too feminine it was a name we both liked, having had a wonderful holiday there. Luna arrived pre-named. We were relieved that the Beckhams had another boy as Posh had suggested Luna for a girl's name.

    Darcey ?
    Jerry (springer groan groan)
