I am pleasantly surprised by this album. Picked this one up in HMV's sale. For those who dont know about BK, he is a hard dance/hard house producer, whose work I have been a fan of for a long time. Normally hard house is a bit on the cheesy side, but his stuff is excellent, fast paced, and has been done in conjunction with some of the biggest names in hard dance. Each song has been done in collaboration (geddit?) with the likes of Christopher Lawrence, EJ Doubell, Tom Harding, Dave Randall, Anne Savage, Andy Farley, Rob Tissera, Guy McAffer, James Lawson, Paul Glazby and Lab 4. This album is worth the money just for track 11, BK & Andy Farley - Accelerate, which has a bassline that accelerates up to a simply insane speed. One track that isnt on the listing, as a bonus track, is the excellent Revolution, which is one of the songs that persuaded me of BK's credentials (the other song being BK's remix of Cortina - Music is Moving).

If you like hard dance, this album is an ESSENTIAL purchase IMO.

I thought about buying this, because I had an earlier album I really liked called Ima. It was then I realised that that album was by BT another DJ/songwriter. Confusing eh.

Ima is btw a fookin classic progressive house-trance album, you should check it out.

I am not the greatest fan of hard house either, prefer techno and hard dance, and I'd say this was more hard dance than hard house...

as a big fan of lab 4 et al i ordered this from amazon last week. it's just hit my cd player and i'm enjoying butterflies at present.
so far so good just what i was expecting.

i must say that i like most genres of electronica from gabba to happy hardcore through chillout and avante guarde so it was a bit of a no brainer. so far it reminds me of classic ibiza style trance circa '99 with a bit of an edge. definately good stuff. thanks paul
    cheers
