Current bid is around £70K

That's the same car I have (same year) allthough mine's black and looks a lot nicer plus it's done a lot less milage. Estoril Blue is the most common colour for the E36 M3 and the least sought after. In the UK it's worth £15-20K tops....and people are willing to pay £70K+ for it???? Just because it was once owned by David Beckham? It's completely insane!

I would rather spend 50k on a Mitsubishi lancer evo VIII MR FQ400 :D and the other 15k on petrol :p

I saw the race on Top Gear but it wasn't all positive news for the Evo. The horrendous turbo lag and ride would rule it out for me altogether I'm afraid:( I thought that the crew agreed the cheaper Evo was the better car.

Depends on what you want....if you want traction, grip and short gear acceleration, then the EVO has all of that, but the Lambo has the name, looks, and ultimate top speed over the EVO.....my last car was excellent at all of the EVO's strengths, and a good bit faster too,but frankly made even my ears bleed after 50miles,and had a maximum range of 100 miles on 50ltrs of super unleaded if you used the power :D

As to Beckham's car,IMHO the previous owner would depress it's value!
