Boosting output voltage of dvd player

    Can it be done? Does a line driver exist for home gear?

    My primare is much quieter in dvd mode than cd... a bit daft really

    Would a line buffer like an MF X10D do the job?

    attenuate the CD for a cheaper option. :)

    if you want to mess up the sound, yeah.. Not my favourite piece of gear! Who, what, where, why, how does it get good reviews!? :eek:

    There are any number of buffers available ....

    the 10x v3 once fitted with decent components sounds very good indeed ......I've modded three or four now ...

    they go from a flat rather nasal sound to bright and open ....

    its just mf cut the corners by fitting cheap poor sounding caps [mainly]

    have you ever tried one ? reviews are non existant, they tell porkies, you are the reviewer, not them, it does impruve the output as well as the sound. nando.

    Indeed I have tried one. It is certainly not to my taste, it is an additive device and I mean that in a negative sense. I reckon the rest of a system must sound pretty poor if it makes it sound better in any way. But that's just my opinion.
