    Hullo.

I've got to raise up my speakers on some blocks.

Anybody know what to do so they look nice, plus don't scratch up all the floor boards?

    Thanks.

I use felt sticky pads used for sofas, etc ... under my Cotswold stone blocks.

    Maybe try Hammerite

I got mine from Gardner Haskins but not the Bristol branch, check out the flooring area.

You've just reminded me that I have a bundle of sticky feet in the basement. Nice one!

I was wondering about hammerite. Maybe the emulsion we had for the walls may hold on the blocks too?

Paint them first twice with PVA mixed with equal parts water
to seal them, they will take emulsion then very well.

    , Snoo,
I used a rubber floor runner. Or the clear vynl kind either will do just fine.

Why do they have to be lifted with blocks? Are you a student?

    Heh! No.

I want to raise the height of the drivers. New sofa basically and the arm of the sofa is a tad too high for my liking. So I'm raising the speakers slightly to give it some clearance.
