BT had big problems yesterday and it all went pear-shaped for a few hours. Could be a knock-on effect.

My wanadoo 1.1mbps connection actually came out about right according to that speed test site, which surprises me tbh. It seemed quick when I got it but less so now, maybe I just got used to the speed......

Mo - are you on NTL? They have recently 'upgraded' all their 300k customers to 1meg. However there is now a cap of 3gig per month. (big F****** con basically)

Yep NTL. I was on 150K which was upgraded to 300 or so a while back for free. Didn't realise it had gone up again.

What do you mean by cap of 3 gig per MOnth? cap on what?

Before there was no limit to how much you could download. Now there is - 3 gigabytes. 3 gig is OK, but if you're a heavy user downloading music and software then it might well not be enough.
