Buying a Stanton 680HIFI Cartridge in the UK?

    Hi does anyone know anywhere you can buy a stanton 680 HIFI cart in the UK at all ? I've searched the net to no avail....

    Any ideas ?

    or try the audio technica atp2xn cart i think it sounds better.

    I personally never found the Stanton 680 anything special. i havent tried the Audio Technica, but I find the Ortofon Nightclubs surprisingly good. Much better than the Stanton Roger Sanchez thingy.

    Ortofon's 'Concord' type offerings will give much better sound quality than Stanton IMHO.
    Stanton have made reliable cart's in the 500 series for years, but to be honest, I never really felt the 680 offered much of an improvement for the extra cost.
    Of course, I presume we are talking about this being mounted on a DJ' turntable of some kind, say a Technics 1210 or Vestax?
    If it's not on a DJ type turntable why not try a high output MC cartridge (which means you can use it on an MM phono stage). I had many years joy with an Audio Technica OC-9,...that was quite some years ago now though;)
