    It is well known that some amps without a Zobel network can not work with high capacitance speaker cables.

    But what exactly do they mean by high capacitance? Let's say, how many pf for a 6 meters is too high to be avoided with amps like Lavardin?

    ... and (just in case anyone else is interested) that's the answer :)

    Moderate or typical capacitance would be around 20-50 pF per foot.
    Low capacitance would be below 20 pF per foot.
    High capacitance would be above 100 pF per foot.
    Very high capacitance would be in the range of sevral hundred to 1,000 pF per foot, and at these levels, some power amps could have stability problems.

    And this is from Lavardin:

    "Thanks to their revolutionary design, Lavardin amplifiers are the less load sensitive amplifiers ever made and from far.
    Thus capacitance of cable such as the one you have has no influence on the safe operation of our amplifiers. The question is more why to have a capacitive cables ? What eventual additional quality is claimed to be provided by such a cable and what actually better sound they provide ? that is the question."

    My Anti-Cable are very low in capacitance

    Resistance = 0.00318 Ohms/foot run
    Inductance = 0.82uH/foot run
    Capacitance = 0.002nF/foot run

    ... and some more from Lavardin:

    " Our research showed us that quality, transparency, of a cable have nothing to do with its resistance, capacitance or inductance." :D
