Aside from burn-in, are cables' performance affected or altered in any way when they're used with different kits, especially more powerful ones?
Maybe it's just me, but when I recently tried my cables on a friend's 100+ watts monobloc, I got the impression that they sounded more open afterwards when I used them back again on my system, which has a lower power output.
It could be another psychoacoustic(?) or there's a real change. Things sometimes can really have strange effects
