I suddenly have a new-found respect for Jeremy Clarkson:

I took slight issue with Jezza's review of the Skoda Octavia 4x4...
"Spend the extra and get the Subaru" he says...
If he lived in the real world he'd know that the 30k service on an Octavia is £70 - multiply it by 3 for the Legacy! And for £500 you can chip the Skoda to 210bhp & 290lb/ft torque..
Despite that, I'm glad Top Gear is returning to our screens tonight, despite Jezza being a badge-obsessed big girl's blouse.

My uncle is a converted Skoda fan, he used to be a rich company director who drove brand new BMW 750's but now he's not to so rich. He's been driving a Skoda Fabria for the last four years and he reckons its the best car he's ever had.

He's now come into money again and its time to buy a new car, he could afford a BMW etc but he's going to be an Octavia or Suburb.

He's done almost 100,000 miles in his Fabria and virtualy nothing gone wrong with it. Even if it it virtualy all motor way miles.

I would happily drive a Skoda.

Jeremy Clarkson would buy a Bose over a Linn simply becuase the Bose has more buttons
