Cap upgrade ??

I've seen several mentions of "upgrading" the DAC I have by replacing a couple of the stock caps with Auricaps.

Just curious, I have no experience of these caps or any others come to think of it so I was wondering if particular capacitor brands tend to have any sort of family sonic signature.

Also I suppose, if it it's likely to be noticable
