cartridge change??

I am currently using a Denon DL110 on a rega P25, into the onboard MM stage on a rega cursa. As it is hard to dem carts round here could you advise what sort of improvement am I going to find by moving to a Dyn 10 x 5.
Would I better waiting, and going for a separate Phone pre- such as the Slee ERA and then changing carts if the denon doesn't do it.

Is your DL110 actually knackered? If not then I'd go with the idea of a better phono pre such as the Era you mention, or a Dynavector P75, and then change the cartridge when it dies.
