Cartridge for TD 160?

    Can anyone recommend a cartridge for a Thorens TD160 Mk2 with original tonearm? My preamp has both MM and MC functions and I like to keep it under £200 if possible. It would be an added bonus if the same cartridge would work with the SME 3009 (improved) on my other turntable which is a TD125. Incidentally I'm still having problems fixing the TD125 if anyone can help with that too (see earlier posts).

    Hi Mike,

    Difficult to beat a £130 Denon DL110 within your budget and it will work fine in the Thorens arm.

    High output MC so play through the MM input on the amplifier.
