I have to save space. I will need speakers that can sit on furniture along with the kit. I won't have room for floorstanders or an equipment rack. Fortunately I will have room for the sub, otherwise this would be much harder to do. I will miss them though. They not only sound good, they are very easy on the eyes too. The cabinet makers at Castle should be very proud of their work. And the carbon fibre drivers look very cool too.

Andy, I can't understand how you thought they weren't room filling enough. You must have an almighty bass hole in your room acoustics. Or perhaps you just needed a sub.

They certainly like some current up 'em. They seem to like the ATC :)

I wish I had found out about these when I was auditioning standmounts. They aren't slow sounding like the ATC SCM12s were and they aren't tizzy sounding like the ProAc 1SCs were. Like Mummy Bear's porridge, they're just right.

The market seems to be a bit flat at the moment. People paying for their holidays I guess. Oh well. Patience is a virtue :)

Can anyone suggest how the Conways might sound with Exposure CD and amps in a room 14.5 x 11.5, good space around speakers, listening distance 8 feet?

They sound fantastic and exposure will suit them very well. They have a tight fast bass, transparent midrange, treble that is detailed but won't make your ears bleed, good soundstage, fair image (at 8 feet). They sound good quiet or loud and they will play very loud. They are fine a foot away from the front wall.

I would sit at least 2 feet (3 if you can) from the rear wall to avoid standing waves in the region of 40 Hz (that's for any speaker, not specific to the Castles).

You could PM WM or Penance. They've heard them.
