I really hope you are actually wiping whale sperm over your cds. Because that would be funny.

Well ...just been over to Uncle Ants.

Treated about four cds ......results are like getting a better cd player. One of the disc Libertines [I think] was near unlistenable before hand but once treated sounded fantastic!

I just can't get over the effect, but its not just me .........

Aunt Ants thought I'd turned the volume up, the first track played sounded so different after treatment it could have been off an entirely different disc !

What its supposed to do is
put a uniform layer of static on thes disc
    clean the disc
    lower the refractive index

Have you tried it in your main system? Or does it only have an effect on budget kit?

Oh bejesus...52 ish of our british pounds....think whale sperm would be cheaper....hire of a boat...diving gear and a big bucket...

Call it audiophile....give it magical properties and charge a kings ransom for it...genius.

    Are they 'avin' a laugh?

The expense comes from the cost of the whale porn magazine - huge material costs and postage is a bitch! Also, know anybody with a hand big enough to do the deed......? :MILD:

I confess. I'm not sure I want to even own up to admitting it (I'm generally snake oil sceptic to the max), but it really did seem to make a difference and an immediate and obvious difference.

Had a good sniff of it and unless I'm mistaken it smelled of alcohol and pear drops (Amyl Actetate?), then I fell over and eveything sounded better ;). Says on the side that it contains ethanol so ingredient one is vodka I guess. Probably costs them 52p a bottle to make it, but unless one can work out what's in it ....

I don't want to even begin to think how this stuff works or my head will explode.

PS. As to the Libs ... one persons unlistenable is another persons top class rough and ready. Pete its ruined. Now it sounds all nice. I want my money back. Arf.

I will Pete...looking forward to it....

I'm not saying they don't work...just the fact that the cost is over the top for what is 200ml of a few chemicals....seems the hi-fi industry charges what it likes for stuff like that.
Yes and i know they'll say years of refining and development costs...my arse.
If the stuff was urine from a tibetan virgin who was born on a wednesday with a full moon it would be cheaper.

See ya saturday Pete...about 2 ish?
