What, me after another transport, surely not (this will be the 5th in 3 years now  :().

Just seeing whats out there...Teac VRDS, Marantz CD-10/16 or similar. Not looking to spend more than £350 or £400.

Let me know what you've got :)

I have a clock modded Meridian 500. When I was looking for a transport, this was recommended by WM. Since then the clock mod (fitted by MartinC of PFM) has made more than a sizeable improvement to it.
I believe that it's a mk2 unit, though someone can probably confirm that. Mine has AEB/EBU output along with SPDIF coax and optical.
    I'm looking for £450 if you're interested.

    looks ok
    works fine
am just cutting down on boxes
    - have replaced the T1, cheapo Sony dvd and Musical Fidelity A324 dac with an Arcam DV139
    - have to say that the T1/A324 vs DV139 is a very close call
the A324 is also available if interested
    how does £200 sound?

Unfortunately have to put this on hold for a little while, money is getting a bit tight (am a student and its the end of term, gotta save something for easter :(). Will no doubt be asking again in a few weeks if it becomes affordable, if either player is still available then both will be considered! Thanks!
