    celestion 100....anyone!?

Anyone know anything about these speakers on sale for £150 s/h at the moment. Can't find a review anywhere. Any details or a pic much appreciated, and how would they sound with a pm7200?
    Thanks,
    HM

Is it a domestic model (as opposed to professional)?

Could it be a Celestion Ditton 100?

Thanks for the link nota, searching groups is certainly more productive than the standard search...useful tip. Looks like the celestion 100 was a speaker in the mid 90's retailing at about $1000usd. Bit worried about the age, but given the original retail price i'm guessing they may be a better bet than the MS902's I was considering. Or is that an ill informed assumption generally given technological advances?!

the '100s weren't one of the better known Celestion models, although I think they sounded pretty good, and iirc had the ribbon tweeter. They did a floorstanding version too, the 300

Coming from a Kingston owner, I'd say they'd be a good choice for monitoring, and revealing innaccuracies in the recording but possibly not the best choice for enjoying the music.

Get yourself some Epos ES11s instead- some been wallowing around for the £150 mark recently. A stormer for that price imho
