I would expect to pay £400 - £500 dependent on condition, but that's just me. Anyone else?

When they stopped being made, they were discounted to less than £1000. I got apair of A2s and A1s, a A5 sub and a centre speaker for £1200 from Hyperfi about a year ago. It might be woth contacting theto see if they have any left. (Mine were new but they also deal in "B-stock" stuff that's not perfect

Importantly have you established that you like them? They're not the most exciting speaker around, very good though if you like that sort of thing but a little "dark" sounding when I've heard them.

£500 quid secondhand is tops I think, as technobear has said, there were masses of discounted ones about, nearly everyone was selling at half price eventually.

    Cheers

Thanks for all the info guys, a lot of food for thought there.
Thinking about it, the A2 is the only speaker of that quality and size I`ve heard in a domestic situation.
Any thoughts on what else I might consider used for around the £1000 mark? and they would have to blend in vaguely with a sort of trad/modern room, Nautilus NON.

The list prices on the A series were cut in half after a couple of years IIRC, so they were at £450, £800 and £1200 or thereabouts for the A1, A2 and A3.
