    I've never seen the club badge before. Given the association with Ireland, why the fourth leaf on the shamrock?

    The four leaf shamrock is a sign of good luck. The Welsh Celts were the first to adopt it as a guard against evil spirits. I guess thats how it got over the sea. The founder of Celtic was an Irish priest who used the game to raise money for the poor irish community in Glasgow hence the name Celtic, green and white and the shamrock, Thats how I understand it anyway!
