Planning to re-arrange the position of my system, one thing i want to do is get the power amp off the main rack. It doesnt need to be there and would be handy to have it closer to speakers.
So, amp stands, whats available and whats good/not good.
DIY is also an option, maybe metal frame with stone top?

I use 20mm thick arcrylic platform with spikes for my very heavy 150lb amp and it sounds wonderful, much better than glass, metal or stone.
    Cheers :)

    Andy-

Mine was £20 for the frame, £13 for the granite, and not a lot for the spikes.

I had it made by a local welding shop. It is steel, and needs painting (which I will get around to sometime when I have somewhere to paint it).

I got them made for me at £110 each. I have tried stone and the acrylic sound much warmer and dynamic compared to harsh and clinical for stone.

You can't, or not one that size anyway. Isaac's hosting that himself and linking to it from here.

There's someone on ebay selling acrylic platforms with bubble spirit levels and sorbothane feet for £50 or so. I thought about getting one to experiment with, but couldn't afford it.
