cheap and dirty CD player with optical out

After much Ebay nonsense , I still need one for the garage and for recording CDs onto MD.

Something really cheap, like <£20

Must have optical digi out


condition irrelevant but must work - no skippy the bush kangaroo.

Usual suspects would be fine - Sony, Denon, NAD etc.

Anyone got one hiding in the loft.......

 

Cheap CD Player

I've got a Sony XE-530 that you could have for 20 + postage at cost - its in reasonable condition and has original box and remote. Has optical out of course, and also CD-TEXT. Will also play any CD-R thrown at it ....

sonys make nice transports.... good solid mechanisms. Ive used many in my time.

the best of all has to be the CDP-XB920E which uses the magnetic puck and fixed pickup mechanism... if you can get one of these it would make a stunning transport
