A friend of mine is going to be putting together a budget system. He is buying some spare speaker drivers from me and I will help him build a box and crossover. He then needs an integrated amp to drive them. The source will be his PC.

So if anyone has a spare integrated going begging please let me know. Budget really is small - not more than £20 max.

Cambridge Audio, Pioneer, Sony, Marantz? That sort of thing. Small preferred, maybe one of those Teac half size things?

I've got a little Creek 4040 knocking around somewhere. He can have that for now't but I need to just check that it works.

40wpc, 3 line inputs and TT.

Hi Rob, are you sure you want to pass it on? It seems like I have taken a lot from you already! It looks like a very nice amp, how does it sound?

    Yes, have it.

It's been lurking under a pile of sheets and blankets in the airing cupboard for ages. Just need to make sure it works as i cant remember where it came from. Should perform to the standard of a decent small NAD or Rotel.

if this doesnt work out for you mate, look on ebay for an NAD 302... one of my favourite amps of old, and i recently got a friend one for £20 on ebay. It sounds superb and sounds a heap more powerfull than it is.
