Excluding the idea of using a Freeview box as a radio, anyone got experience with any cheapy DAB tuners and any thoughts?

I know nothing about them, apart from the fact that the medium is low bitrate and not that great. This is for a unit for a friend.

I've bust two of them.....ie I've had two and both died, a friend has an accoustic solutions which sounds ok...and I've got a pure 701.
The 701 is definately streets ahead of the DA-1 but new it was £250. Having run both via the the dac input of the the quad 99 I could easily live with the cheaper one but for the reliability question. Oh and the other downer is its fixed rat tail aerial is pooh.
