due to problems with my CD6000KI's analogue outputs dying I'm going down the DAC side and need a budget digi coax i/c

Any recommendations most appreciated as I've never bought one before.

Budget is around £20 and any Ebay deals would be handy.

Apogee Wyde-Eye if you can find someone to sell one to you or get one of the cables that Mark Grant on AVForums sells which go for about £20.

No. I just use my Apogee Wyde-Eye terminated with Bullet Plugs. I have a 75cm offcut of Apogee Wyde-Eye cable (unterminated) which you can have for free if you like but you'll need to terminate it yourself or get someone to do it for you.

I use a Deltron Gotham GAC2 AES/EBU cable, a whole £13 from farnell. They also do SPDIF cables, but minimum credit card order from farnell is £20.

Thanks for the kind offer Michael but I'm going to take the easy route :) . I've too many jobs at the moment...

    I think I'll give Mark Grant's cables a try.

I am using one of Mark Grants digi cables at the moment and think they are very well made , however the cable is ever so slightly stiff. If you want a nice Brightly coloured and extremely flexible digital co-ax then Eccosse do one called 'The Producer' (MkII) for about £20-£25. It seems to be well made using seemingly good quality materials.
