    Oh go on then, I'll ask, whats inside it then?

    I've been playing around with mains cables - using Oxyfree copper and various weaves and shieldings.
    I can't say weave or straight made much difference on my system.
    Neither does cross section have that much difference -
    I've tried from 0.785mm Squ to 3 times that.

    As Zanash said the biggest difference comes from the length.
    I made some 2.0m long ones, and these I like the best so far...

    Where did you buy that IEC plug from? I found Wattgate ones for £20 each on the net...

    This is something I'm currently looking into ,( pun intended, grooaann LOL ! ).
