Has anyone seen/heard the VTL/sony JLTI multiformat disc player as offered by Chevin Audio? They promote it as a real giant killer (of course).

I wonder if it would suit my second system or if I should ask Tony (WM) what he can do for the same money. The Sony donor can be had for around £150 - £160 Chevin want six hundred odd for the finished article.

    All opinions valued....

    Thanks boys.

IME there are good multiformat players around from standard sources, so I personally would stick with one of those. For example, I have good experience with Marantz DV8400 and DV9500, which can be had relatively cheaply now, and there are many others.

if it is the same player as here http://www.vacuumstate.com it should be very very very good.

Allen Wright have very good reputation and proven record on those things.
