After this afternoons slamdunking exchange on the DSOTM thread, I'm perplexed  Chewy Bass, not familar with this term, I know Big bass, Fook Off bass, sloppy bass,Tight bass, constipated bass, over blown bass, lack of :D , well timed bass, one note bass (krell step forward please :D ),farting bass, but yet never chewy bass, could it be a gristle like sound that you just can't seem to shift? can we discuss this? Cheers Wm

    chewy bass?

Do you remember eating curly wurleys and texans as a nipper - too much in the gob and you get lactic acid build up in the jaw muscles coupled with a 'roof of the mouth' experience:)

Nice n chewy - but sugary and sticky too.

it messes with the music in a way you can't analyse, you know something is not right, but you can't put your finger on it.................the music is muddled, slow and just doesn't time correctly,in fact, the lower notes are messing with you and its getting on your tits.In truth, the music is messy, its actually chewy...................in the mind.

getting more and more like Call My Bluff this

What kind of dumb company ;) could have invented such a stupid term? :D

..........The Kestrels deliver more than a small helping of high-end meat and potatoes, and for dessert they offer a sweet tonal balance and chewy bass.

well, I got 102 results on my search engine so maybe they arent entirely to blame

A bottom end you can get your teeth into WM. Surely you are familiar with that. Minimum requirement is 12 inches. Both for software and hardware.
