I wondert if you know Chord and can give me a sincere advice. The dealer told me that Odyssey was one of the best cables in the market, but I have to gamble, because home demo is not possible.

plus chord have just released new speaker cables.

Chord has announced two new additions to its speaker cable range; Epic Twin (dual-conductor) and Epic Super Twin (twin dual-conductor).

The new Epic range is the result of combining elements of two of Chord's most popular cables, Odyssey and Signature. Epic, like Odyssey, features two conductors each made up of 19 strands of silver-plated oxygen free copper conductors. The two conductors are twisted together, insulated by Teflon and then surrounded by a silicon jacket.

That's not all - Epic has the addition of a dual shielding system applied to the outer silicone of Odyssey that is then surrounded with a special PVC jacket (10.5 mm for Epic Twin and 15 mm for Epic Super Twin) to further improve mechanical damping.

The Epic Twin and Epic Super Twin are available now at £40 and £80 per metre respectively.

I had Chord Odyssey. I made the 'twisted twins' on the TNT website and promptly flogged the Chord on ebay for a very minor loss. Nothing wrong with it though, I just prefered the tt's and 2 x 6m only cost me £30 and I sold the Chord for £150!

But you have your speaker bi-wire or you run a single wire?
