Saw this kit at the show. What a larf it looks bloody awful.

"Oh come see my kit if you look in the blue bit you can see the elctronics!"

The disspointing thing for this new B&O lifestyle crap was in many ways it sounded like B&O, mediocre at best.

Did any one else see this room?

    Hey Garyi,

I am not based in the U.K. so I do not get to visit those shows often therefore, I have not yet seen the Chord Choral range in the flesh, only in magazines. But I think you are correct in that many of the Choral range customers would come from the B&O lifestyle set.

In a modern living room that contains B&O gear and a plasma TV screen, the Choral range would be a tempting proposition. I know a few of them over here who are already getting excited and cannot wait for our own hifi show which takes place on 18th & 19th October, 2003 just to view the Choral range. All I can say is that B&O and Linn who are also now into the lifestyle game do have a serious competitor, cashwise, though not necessarily soundwise. ;)

    Enjoy the music,

    Lawrie:D

Although I've not actually heard Chord, I've heard some B&O and Bose kit and it didn't impress. I've not heard Linn kit, but given the reputation of it and opinions, if I were looking for expensive lifestyle kit, Linn is where my dosh would go to.

Would still love a Sondek or LP12....if only I won the lottery :D

Seriously though, this industry is tarnished enough with the 'geek' stick.

Calling yourself startrek names is moving it to a new level of saddness.
