Im visiting uk from australia and have picked up a mint teac t1 transport to go with my audiomecca (anagram 2 processor ) dac
It has been suggested that I should fit a trichord 4 clock and never connected power supply. is this overkill as it is already a competent dac, or am I likely to hear vfm benifits from the clock and psu upgrade, would opting for a cheaper psu for the clock £100 less suffice or should I be looking at other clocks
ps my diy skills are in the building not the solder and circuit fields
    any advice welcome

if he doesnt see the thread and reply here speak to 'wadiameister'.

You just wont find someone who knows more about never connected power supplies and trichord clocks (outside of trichord).

Check the latest Hi Fi World (Letters section), there is some useful information about upgrading T1, including contact numbers for the company here in London which is doing mods to Teac T1s. Talk to these guys, they are quite competent.
