    Found this quite interesting;

    Tricky one, very similar but like a good friend of mine once said "there are only so many chords, notes and combinations of such...."

    There's a version with the two mixed in together here:

    I'm a big Satch fan, but I'd be inclined to say it was coincidence, frankly?

    These comparisons seem to appear every now and again, but I think your friend's quote is entirely valid.

    It's a shame so many bands just recycle their own sounds, mind - this one of Nickelback made me chuckle a little - works best with headphones (and worryingly, it doesn't sound that bad):

    Ah, I hadn't realised it had got as far as lawsuits, will be watching this one - these things are normally just a few keyboard warriors having a bash!

    the blatant top 8....

    When A-Ha's Morten Harket sings “touch me†to the same chords and melody that Bono does, the case is pretty much closed. In fact, after a live performance of “Beautiful Day†Bono exclaimed to the audience “the sun always shines on T.V!â€Â

    This case is....it's more about this specific case than plagiarism in general which we all know has been around forever.
