How can I apply EQ to the main audio outputs of my computer? I have an M-Audio external card that I use with my laptop and in cases where I don't want to use my external EQ, I want a way to apply EQ to the main audio outputs in software.

I don't want it to be built in to some playing software, it needs to go on everything that comes out the PC.

I use an M-Audio Fast Track Ultra for audio and although it has a control panel, it has no way to run VST effects on the main outputs. There must be a program to run VST effects on the main sound?

    Hi Simon,

Can you use Console (japanese software) or playback/audio software that has VST hosting?

    Ciao T
