If they are files bought from iTunes online shop then they are .m4p files that have proprietary copy protection. The way to get round this as iTunes itself suggests is first to burn them as an audio CD, then rip the CD to an unprotected format, such as mp3. Makes one cringe, I know, but the result is reasonable if the bit rate is OK, like 192 or above, and the user is not an audiophile.

Tbone, I think he may just be asking a simple question.

In itunes goto file and create playlist.

Then from the main library click and drag the wanted files to that play list.

Once you have what you want click on the playlist and check it does not exceed 70 mins at the bottom, then goto file and click burn playlist to disk, then follow the instructions.

Purchased music from iTunes can be burnt to CD a maximum of ten times I believe.

If its from other sources then it will not have this restriction.

Thanks for the replies, much appreciated. After a further discussion this afternoon he's made things abit clearer, well hopefully, I aint a clue. He want to 'clone' a karaoke disc, I presume this is a download. He describes it as CD + G as whats needed to be copied. Any ideas??

I tried that a while ago for someone, managed to copy the music fine, but getting the karaoke part across seemed very difficult (I never managed it)
