Apprently, ATC 100's have been given 'Kan bass status' on Pink fish, can think of a more fitting accolade really excepet may 'Farty bass' also copyright Pink fish 2003 (without death threats).

My ATCs have much less bass than Kans. Quite often, when the hi-fi is silent, it turns out somebody's actually playing the bass, but obviously my system can't reproduce it at all.

Rubbish speakers, really. Can't think why anyone would buy them.

missus jshack does not let one acquire wealth.

For instance, today.

I was quite happy with my 300 or so CD on display in the living quarters on a 14' shelf right along one wall.

Today we've been to Barkers and Stonehurst (or some such) to buy a cabinet, in order that they could be tidied away. I think that the real reason is that she doesn't want her coffee morining friends to see my musical collection.

Just not on!

However she does allow two 50 litre enclosures with 350 Watts per side (after the crossover) driving 3-way speakers delivering 112Db continuous (with a bit above if required), most of which in class A (whatever that is), in a rather atractive TEAC veneer. Just wish they could do decent bass like small transmission line passives!

What's your point? Is it the fact that Paul lives at home and you don't? You've grown up, are successful and have a family- well bully for you.
