i was quite surprised to see them too. They were hanging about (the cables, not the kids) with the overpriced £14.99 Firewire cables

 

I have seen QNEX 1 and QNEX 2 cables at RS Components, I am not sure how much they were but I have a feeling they would be cheaper than the HIFI shops I will check how much they are.

The best bargain though is the pound store in Picciddily Gardens Manchester, they are selling Acoustic Research gold plated interconnect with silver conductors and teflon insultation (3 phonos to scart) for just £1

 

those AR cables are cheap! buy the lot and ebay them

 

I bought 6 of them but the the second time I went back he said "you're not selling them are you because I'm not selling them to you if you are" my face went red and mumbled they are for family.

So I have not been able to go back since. Ebay is flooded with them though, I sold one for £5 today but I am going to keep one for myself, and the rest I sell at Christmas.
