    Via Ipod today:

Eloy - Colours : probably my favourite Eloy album, some great tunes and an excellent balance between keyboards and guitars. It really just transports me off this terrestrial plane!

New Model Army - Carnival : their 1st new album for ages and very good it is too. Well up there with previous offerings such as "Thunder and Consolation" and "Strange Brotherhood"

I've had Un Peu De Neige Salie for a few years now - stunning album, probably redefines 'minimalism' - but I've never been able to call it music. Seems more like a sonic experiment, although it is fascinating and engrossing stuff. How are you getting on with it?? Ryoji Ikeda is very good too.

    Hello Mr.C

I picked this one up and a couple of his others only recently through enjoying the +minus discs. Having slightly overlooked him over the years in favor of Chartier / Roden / Lopez, i was initially disappointed that it wasn't quieter. I have the latest version that is surprisingly louder and clearer than i thought it would be (he must have had a reason for remixing it that way....) it's pretty amazing that it was originally released 13 years ago and i'll be giving it a few more spins.

Whever it's music? to me yes, because it's intentional as opposed to just background noise, i think that's what defines music for me anyway.

    Elton.

Chaos and Creation in the Back Yard - McCartney.

What a good album. It really is amazing how he just keeps managing to knock out great tunes. He's been doing it for years now and they just don't seem to be running out. He really has an incredible talent for creating melodies. Jenny Wren is a beautiful song and as good as anything he's ever done.

I find the man himself a bit nauseating but you can't knock him for what he does.

    Welcome to the forum!

First post and you've made in the music section :)

It's been a bit quiet around this part lately, unfortunately.

What else are you listening to?
