There has been a mixed reception to the Analord series, some people were calling Aphex a sell out for the £40 mail order only folder, some calling the whole thing a gimmick. Part 10, which originally only came with the folder (and I was lucky enough to get hold of) is being released next week as a picture disc at a standard price (about £6). Check out www.boomkat.com/item.cfm?id=17966 (you can listen to good quality samples of the series here too). Cheapest place to buy is www.warp.com where they are all £4.49 each.
As for me, I think it's awesome. I am a very devoted Aphex follower, but still I think it's refreshing to see him getting back to analogue (acid!) electronics after the whole laptop/IDM movement of the last few years. The music has got a more 'hands on' feel to it, with some of the best basslines I've heard from Aphex. Some people are calling it his best work yet. It's a very varied collection too, as is all of Aphex's work. And they are all 180g pressings.
