For phono and psu boards - with a few holes cut in it.

    More info

Please be a little more specific,as to what you are looking for.
There are a couple of good sheet metal companies locally, but it does depend on what you want.

    Hi,

I now have the boards so I can be a bit more specific. I have no case at all provided so I will need two aluminium black anodised cases to start with. The psu box will need four mounting holes drilled on the bottom face plus a mains socket hole and a hole for the dc cable. The phono stage case will need four mounting holes drilled on the bottom as well, plus a d sub connector hole, two pairs of phono holes and a screw hole for the earth post.

    Regards,

    Nick.

    Hi Nick
Am I correct to deduce that your boards are not that large ?
Do you intend to have the cases on show or tucked out of site ?
You may like to look at RS or Maplins they have a range of enclosures some of which are ready painted possibly anodised as well (I've never looked for this) the work you want done is very simple to do your self and as such would be much cheaper than having a case made up from scratch. It all depends on what sort of case you are after. Aluminium does not form well, post anodising as the coating is brittle and is prone to crack.

Hey, buy something cheap with a nice case off ebay and strip it out. re-spray it if you want it to look different.

The boards are not huge - medium sized. I would need extra holes drilled in the maplin case though. I dont have any tools and I am not very practical.

The cases could be kept out of sight.

Bring it down one weekend if you like, I got a shed load of tools. You can do the hard work though, I'll just watch!
