Custom (mostly) system

    Taken about 7-8 years to get here, and still not quite finished, but almost. Only non-custom parts are SME 309, Koetsu Black and the Garrard 401 unit (although the build up is custom). None of it done by me, by the way! ;)

    It's a combination of carbon fibre and granite with a solid ash frame. If you PM me I'll give you the details. It absolutely kicks ass by the way!!

    The amps look a bit tasty as well what are they.I assume they are built and not off the shelf?

    Pre-amp is valve (with the aluminium fascia, on the bottom shelf of the rack, with the power supply above it to the left - that wooden 'brick' next to it is the TT power supply). The mono-blocks are a hard wired, hand built, push-pull design, 35W, totally custom made, KT88 output valves.

    Edit: Also, the speakers are transmission line

    No, not done by me. As far as I am aware they are all original designs.

    The sheets of cloth hanging on the wall behind your kit - are they decorative or are they meant to do soemething?

    LOL, I put them up originally because the room was a little echoey when I first moved in. Whether they still do anything I don't know but I can't be arsed to take them down...:D
