Are the above two cables the older or newer type outer covering?

 

Hi - the Yello cables are (i believe) the original yellow casings as opposed to the Powermax cables that have the blue casings.

 

i use a cyrus pre xvs and it sounds extremely good, considering these cost a lot more new ,285 is a bargain. well worth a punt
