    Hi,

Have read several articles about the "definitive" version of this available as a download on DVD audio.

Anyone managed to find it ??

I did torrent a master version of it a jap version I think. Pretty much sounds the same.

I am sure if there was an official DVDa version of this there would be a lot more advertising than the none which is currently available.

Perhaps there is a torrent of a version out there or something?

There is indeed a torrent of the original premiere version of DSOTM in glorious Alan Parsons quad. Perhaps try something like going to google and typing in DSOTM DVDA and pressing 'I'm feeling lucky'.

    It might work....

It might be argued that the quad version was not the definitive version!

In the last issue of HiFi world they discussed this album and their opinion was that unless you had an absolutely mint first press LP, then nearly as good was the 30th anniversary SACD/CD or LP re-issue.

Many thanks for your replies, have about 6 versions including original day 1 release, although pretty much unplayable, pitty seeing what they fetch on E-Bay.
Also have MFSL version on vinyl which is OK,but I prefer the CD version from the "Shine On" box, maybe this was remastered ??

Just curious to hear this in Quad as when we listen to music DVD's we much prefer to playback in stereo, but their new DVD sounds pretty impresive in surround sound even just with Keff eggs.Or was it what we were smoking :JPS:

as usual HIFI World shows it knows little about music.
THE version to have is the 220gm MOFI UHQR Version
The best digital is the MOFI CD, the first Japanese black triangle version apparantly comes close.
