    Heh heh, i was going to say that.:) Magic smoke inside - good. Magic smoke outside - baaaad. A 'friend' of mine once blew up my first amp and green smoke escaped. Never worked again. Glad to hear you got it fixed Isaac, enjoy!

    Good to hear the legacy of my old CD16 is still being kept alive under your ownership. :) What was wrong with it BTW?

    I think it's something to do with muck in the disc clamp meant that the disc was slipping as it span, causing it to skip. That's stopped, but it's still not picking the disc up every time it's loaded, so still finding the bugs in the clamping mech.
