I've been looking into CDPs recently and have noticed that a few of the new players are use the Burr Brown PCM 1738 dacs (e.g. the Primare CD21; the MF 3.5; etc).
According to hifi world, there's a pretty big difference between the sounds and the measured outputs, so i was wondering roughly what difference these dac make? Does anyone have a kind of ball park figure (like 20-50% depending on the rest of the ciruitry).
